RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS CONSIDERING HUMAN ERRORS

Human error has been recognized as one of the major causes of structural failure. Moreover, it may greatly exacerbate the damaging effect of other hazards.Based on a great number of survey data, the present paper gives some rules on human error during construction, develops a mathematicalmodel to consider the influence of human error on.the basic structuralparameters. Finally, as example, an reliability analysis of reinforcedconcrete beam considering human errors during construction is given.
