A FULL RANGE NONLINEAR ANALYSIS FOR SPACE STEEL FRAMES

  • Based on the virtual work increment equation for the three dimensional continuum and stress-resultant yield surface plastic rule, the updated Lagrangian formulation is developed, and a new type of geometric stiffness matrix is presented. The numerical examples verify that the theoretical method derived in this paper has very high precision and efficiency.
