EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON MECHANICAL PERFORMANCE OF MULTI-LEVEL SMA LEAD RUBBER BEARING

  • The seismic test shows that the isolation bridge has good isolation performance and can greatly reduce the internal force of the bridge substructure. However, under the action of velocity pulse type ground motion, the isolation bearing will often produce excessive deformation, resulting in the residual deformation of the bearing, the beam collision, the beam falling and other seismic damage. In order to satisfy the different performance requirements of bridges under different seismic levels, a Multi-level SMA lead rubber bearing is proposed and tested. The numerical simulation and quasi-static test show that MSLRB has many advantages such as multi-level performances, self-recovery of deformation and strong limiting capacity.
