RESEARCH ON THE POST-BUCKLING OF SANDWICH PLATES UNDER IMPACT LOAD

  • The deformation characteristics of the sandwich plates under SHPB apparatus are analyzed by the finite element software ABAQUS. The finite element calculation results are compared with the experimental results. In the time course of an impact load, the research are mainly from these three aspects, the displacement of a core sheet, and the stress and strain of a core sheet. The propagation of elastoplastic compression wave and the growing characteristics of dynamic buckling of the core sheet under compression wave are studied. The interaction between compression wave and buckling deformation, and the development law of the large deformation of plastic post-buckling are analyzed.
