ANALYTICAL STUDY ON THE VIBRATION RESPONSE OF THE TRACK SUBJECTED TO THE MOVING MASS WITH VARIABLE SPEEDS

  • The vibration and noise induced by the moving train entering or leaving stations can not be ignored. However, only a few studies have been carried out on the problem of the moving train with variable speeds currently. In order to study the environmental vibration due to moving trains entering or leaving stations, the vibration response of the track structure subjected to single and series moving masses, moving mass systems was studied, based on the frequency-domain periodic analytical model of the track structure. The vibration response of the simply supported beam subjected to the moving masses with variable speeds was calculated and compared with the results in the references to verify the analytical model. The research results indicate that: the vibration response of the track structure subjected to the moving mass is much bigger than that subjected to the moving force; and more oscillation is generated by the interaction of the moving mass and the track structure. Furthermore, the vibration response of the track structure increases slightly with the increase of the moving acceleration of the moving masses.
