ACTUALIZATION OF VISUAL INTERFACE OF SCIENTIFIC DATABASES

  • 摘要: 本文通过两个实例讨论科学数据库中的数据可视化问题,介绍如何在通用数据库管理系统环境下,存储、管理和展示数值数据、长短文本、公式、图表、曲线、照片,视频以及长篇文章等多种媒体的数据;在查询界面中如何实现动态图形显示;在工作台面的设计中,怎样为用户提供一个边查阅边分析的研究工作环境。

     

    Abstract: Based on two cases, visualization of information in scientific databases of engineering structure experiment is addressed in this paper. The storage, management and display of various multi-media-items under a normal database management system are investigated. The multi-media-items include numeral, short or long text, formula graph, curve, photo, video and icicle, etc. The way to acquire dynamic graphic display of the vibration modes of a structure on the inquiring interface of database is studied. Discussion is also conducted on how to provide users a virtual research environment where users can perform analyses as they browse through the database.
