EVALUATION OF THE FATIGUE PERFORMANCE OF PI-INORGANIC HYBRID FILMS

  • 摘要: 现有报道较少涉及有机薄膜疲劳特性的研究。基于应力幅控制,对聚酰亚胺/二氧化硅(PI/SiO2)复合薄膜的疲劳性能进行了实验研究,给出了不同应力幅值下材料的疲劳寿命,以及阻尼角、储能模量、耗能模量等随疲劳周次增加的变化规律。在此基础上,基于疲劳模量的概念,提出了一种改进型的针对聚合物及基体控制聚合物复合材料的疲劳寿命预测模型,其理论预测值与实验测试结果具有很好的一致性。

     

    Abstract: Little work has been carried out in assessing the property degradation and damage mechanism of polymer thin films under fatigue loading. In this study, the fatigue life and properties of PI/SiO2 films were determined based on the stress amplitude control method. The variation in damping angle, storage modulus, loss modulus and energy dissipation with increasing fatigue cycles were recorded. Furthermore, based on the fatigue modulus concept, an improved model to predict the fatigue life of polymers and their composites is proposed. The results show that the theoretical prediction agrees well with experimental observations.
