颗粒形状对堆石料力学特性影响的离散元分析

DEM ANALYSIS OF THE AGGREGATE SHAPE EFFECT ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ROCKFILL

  • 摘要: 颗粒形状是影响堆石料力学特性的重要因素,值得深入研究。以爆破堆石料为研究对象,采用离散元软件PFC3D根据真实颗粒形状建立不同球度的单颗粒模型。分别生成不破碎和可破碎试样并进行三轴剪切试验模拟,分析颗粒球度对堆石料力学特性的影响及细观机理。研究结果表明:颗粒球度通过影响试样内颗粒咬合和颗粒破碎,进而影响堆石料力学特性;颗粒强度高、围压低时,球度越小,颗粒间咬合程度越高,试样峰值摩擦角越大;当颗粒强度低、围压高时,球度越小,颗粒破碎越显著,试样峰值摩擦角越小;堆石料初始弹性模量随围压与颗粒球度的增大而增大,但与颗粒是否破碎关系不大。

     

    Abstract: Aggregate shape plays an important role on mechanical properties of rockfill materials and the effect of aggregate shape deserves further study. According to the actual aggregate shape of blasted rockfill, the DEM models with different sphericities are proposed. Unbreakable samples and breakable samples are established respectively, and the influence of particle sphericity on mechanical properties of rockfill and its meso-mechanism are studied. The preliminary results show that the sphericity affects the mechanical properties of rockfill by affecting the particle occlusion and particle breakage. When the particle strength is relatively high, the smaller the sphericity is, the higher the degree of particle occlusion will be, which will increase the peak friction angle. When the particle strength is relatively low, the particle breakage increases with the decrease of sphericity, which will decrease the peak friction angle. In addition, the initial tangent modulus of rockfill increases with the increase of confining pressure and sphericity.
