热轧变厚U肋正交异性钢桥面板疲劳试验与性能研究

FATIGUE TEST AND PERFORMANCE STUDY ON ORTHOTROPIC STEEL DECKS WITH HOT ROLLED THIKENED U RIBS

  • 摘要: 为明确热轧变厚U肋正交异性钢桥面板的疲劳破坏模态及其疲劳性能,对2个钢桥面板足尺模型开展了疲劳试验,对比分析了热轧变厚U肋与冷弯等厚U肋在典型焊缝细节处的破坏模式及疲劳寿命,并采用热点应力法评估了疲劳性能。进一步,建立了钢桥面板试件三维有限元模型,基于结构应力方法研究了U肋规格对钢桥面板关键焊缝细节疲劳性能的影响。结果表明:热轧变厚U肋试件的主导破坏模态为U肋-横隔板焊缝细节的疲劳开裂,裂纹萌生于U肋侧焊缝的焊趾,并沿U肋腹板和厚度方向扩展。采用热轧变厚U肋能显著降低U肋-顶板焊缝和U肋-横隔板焊缝等效结构应力幅,降幅分别为16.8%和29.6%。与冷弯等厚U肋相比,采用热轧变厚U肋可以有效提高U肋-横隔板焊缝和U肋-顶板焊缝细节的疲劳开裂寿命,U肋-横隔板焊缝细节的平均等效疲劳强度提高43.3%,达到126.9 MPa。

     

    Abstract: In order to investigate the fatigue failure modes and the fatigue performance of orthotropic steel decks (OSDs) with hot rolled thickened U ribs, a variable amplitude fatigue test was conducted on two full-scale steel deck specimens. The failure mode and stress amplitude of fatigue details in steel decks with hot rolled thickened U ribs and with cold formed U ribs were analyzed, and an assessment of fatigue performance for OSDs was carried out using the structural hot spot stress method. Furthermore, a three-dimensional finite element model of the OSD specimen was developed, and the influence of U rib specifications on the fatigue performance of critical weld details was investigated upon the structural stress method. The test results indicate that fatigue cracks in OSDs with hot rolled thickened U ribs initiate at the rib-diaphragm welded joint, subsequently propagating along both the height and thickness directions of U ribs. The use of hot rolled thickened U ribs significantly reduces the equivalent structural stress at the U rib to deck weld and at the U rib to diaphragm weld, with reductions of 16.8% and 29.6%, respectively. The implementation of hot rolled thickened U ribs effectively improve the fatigue life of the rib-diaphragm weld and of rib-deck weld details. Compared to cold formed U ribs, the average equivalent fatigue strength of the hot rolled thickened U rib-diaphragm joint increase by 43%, reaching 126.9 MPa.
