Abstract:
To support the research on the crashworthiness of a typical civil aircraft, a vertical impact experiment method for an overhead bin system based on the structure longitudinal dynamic experiment sled was established, and experimental research was conducted. Analyzed were the response laws of the system motion process, structural connection force, typical position acceleration, and support rod tensile displacement. The results show that the experiment method proposed can effectively obtain the impact resistance mechanical characteristics of a single overhead bin system. The acceleration at the support rod tip is the basis for evaluating the dynamic performance of the system, and its layout has a significant impact on the system motion process, while its structural form has the opposite effect. The distribution of forces at the support rod tip and the acceleration at the support rod end, as well as the acceleration at the overhead bin box are closely related to the structural form of the support rod, with a variation of over 20%.
