NUMERICAL SIMULATION ANALYSIS ON OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF VARIABLE LENGTH PILE RAFT FOUNDATION

  • Based on large finite element numerical analysis software, and according to the model test under the some assumptions, a numerical simulation model was built through the adjustment of the pile length of a pile-raft foundation. The rules about raft settlement, pile top counterforce and soil counterforce of a pile-raft foundation were studied. With the increase of pile length, the reduction of sink effect is obvious in the core tube central position. The rate of pile top counterforce is reduced. Soil counterforce was increased in the central. Soil counterforce was reduced in the corner and side of the raft. The conclusion is that the raft load is borne by both the pile and foundation soil.
